By true definition this getaway is not really a cabin it is a rustic home.   Merriam-Webster’s definition of a cabin is – “a small one-story dwelling usually of simple construction.”   This home is two stories, with four bedrooms, and two full bathrooms offering you much more than a cabin!

The Golden Stone Getaway has a country look and feel.   Enjoy the sounds of Rock Creek and the view of the beautiful valley, leave your worries behind while relaxing on the covered front porch.   Or lounge inside with wood floors, custom alder kitchen cabinets, fireplace and many modern amenities.   You’ll feel right at home with running water, TV/VCR and stereo, refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, commercial gas range, washer and dryer and ceiling fans.  

When the Golden Stone Getaway is not being rented, it is our home away from home. So you'll find that the house is comfortable and well maintained.   We want our guests to relax and appreciate the place as much as we do.
